橋本大輔 其父橋本城岳是昭和年代京都有名的陶藝家。橋本大輔從小就在作陶、售陶的環境下耳濡目染。
一次偶然的機會他接觸到了天目陶器，讓他一見鍾情，那閃耀著光芒的釉色，顛覆了他對陶器本色、樸素特點的認知。於是他專門拜訪天目專家木村隆，正式學習天目陶器的製作。Son of Showa era's famous ceramist Hashimoto Jogaku from Kyoto, Hashimoto Daisuke grew up in an environment of making and selling ceramics.
By chance, he came upon tennmoku ceramics and it was love at first sight. The shimmering glaze transformed his original perception of ceramics, that they are natural and unembellished, leading him to pay a visit to tennmoku expert Kimura Ryu to learn to how to make tennmoku ceramics.
