作為一個陶藝人，對我來說最重要的是一個物體的形與色之間的關係。茶碗對我來說不只是拿來展出的物品。茶碗應該能讓我們與其他人連結、也將我們與周遭大自然連接起來。
為了創作出能夠深度反映出我的家鄉法國諾曼第的自然環境的茶碗，我使用當地製作的材料以及周遭大自然所產出的材料，如胚土與灰釉。
As a ceramicist, the most important for me is the relationship between shape and color in an object. Chawan bowls, for me, are more than just objects to put on display in an exhibition, as they are meant to connect us with others and the natural world around us.
Seeking to create Chawans that deeply reflect the natural surroundings of my home in Normandy, France, I used locally-produced materials as well as materials, such as clay and ash glazes, that form the nature around me.
