There are many different hawan for making tea that you can use as well as to use it in your
daily life and I think, it all comes down to preference. One of my favorite things about preparing
green tea is knowing that the tea bowl, chawan, is made by hand ... Hand formed. Only
hands, clay, and iron or wood scraper.
The texture of the chawan is wonderfully irregular and a delight to hold; smooth glaze but with
numerous bumps and hollows that are so beloved in hand-formed bowls.
The most important is the color and texture of the non-glaze part that makes you feel the nature.
These chawans was created for communication, and they also do it on a tactile level...
When you drink tea, you immerse yourself in the world. The world that cannot be expressed in
words - taste, colors, patterns, and textures ...
