Tenmoku is a very delicate art. Any minor adjustment can alter its resulting appearances. I
contemplated the matter and realized that no methods could produce the perfect work in my
mind. I often think back to my first introduction to Tenmoku. I never expected I would come
across such beauty. My Tenmoku glitters like light dancing on the surface of the ocean or like
the dusk sky. My lifelong pursuit is to create Tenmoku that is acknowledged in the eyes of all
people.

天目這陶瓷器是非常纖細的，在燒成過程中稍微少了什麼都會改變它的風貌。想來想去不管
如何燒製也難以燒成心目中美麗的作品。可能做幾十次的實驗也有一次成功吧！但是萬萬沒
想到居然會遇見美麗的天目。所以自己的天目是閃亮光輝如海，黃昏時的天空一樣的，想作
出讓許多人認為美麗的天目更能秉持普遍的美，是我一生祈求的。
