Chih-Chiang Chen 陳志強

I have loved nature since I was a child. The beauty of nature, such as fields, mountains, sky,
trees, rivers, has always fascinated me. In expression of the style of work, it always includes
my experience and observation of nature. Living naturally, not deliberately, not pretending, is
always my core spiritual pursuit. The essence of pottery inside every piece of works: Soil, glaze
and fire intertwined and blended together, indispensable.

我自幼就喜愛大自然，田園、山林、天空、樹木、流水，大自然的美一直令我嚮往。因此，
在作品風格底蘊的表現上，涵蓋了許多我對大自然的體會與觀察。平淡天真，是生活的常態，
也是我創作上的精神追求。陶藝的本質則蘊含於作品當中。泥土、釉色、窯火，交織相融，
缺一不可。
