冬天是我最喜歡製作茶碗的季節之一。我最愛在外面很冷、很安靜又有一點陰陰的時候，專注在茶碗上。這個美妙的氛圍賜予我動力也給我靈感，讓我能創造出作品所需要的獨特形狀與質感。
這些年，我了解到喝茶能最能夠把人們聚集在一起，讓他們與房內的環境連結，也讓他們與生活中的大自然產生連結。這個過程能夠激勵我們，把我們的感官與眼睛打開。製作茶碗的過程就像是喝茶一樣也是在分享這些類似的感覺。我認為那是一個富有情感、有層次的一個過程，能在深思之後啟發創新。
Winter is one of my favorite seasons to make Chawans. I love to focus on Chawans when it’s cold, quite and a little gloomy outside. This wonderful atmosphere motivates and inspires me to create those unique shapes and surfaces that are needed for my pieces.
For years, I have learned drinking tea is a perfect way to bring people together and connect them with their surroundings in the room as well as the nature in their daily lives. This process stimulates and opens up our senses and eyes. The process of making Chawans is sharing these similar feelings as drinking tea. I believe it's an emotional and multi-dimensional process,that inspires something novel following a train of thoughts.
