從一開始做陶的時候我就被古老傳統的形體與技巧吸引來探索以將其現代化。這也是為什麼我每次到世界各地參訪古藝術與民族博物館時都受到啟發。在我陶藝生涯剛起步時，亞洲的茶席就深深的吸引著我，造就了我對製作美麗的茶碗與茶具那源源不絕的愛。透過我的作品，我想要述說一個故事，一首用文明撰寫、以大自然作為結尾的圖像詩。

From the very beginning of my working with clay I have always been drawn to explore the ancient, the traditional forms and techniques, to transform them into modern times. This is why I feel so inspired every time I visit museums of Ancient Art and of Ethnology all around the world. The tee ceremony of Asia fascinated me also from the beginning of my career with clay, thus my unbroken love for making beautiful Chawan and teaware. With my work, I wish to tell a story, a poem written by civilization and finalized by nature in kind of a pictorial language.
